At a young age, Larry Wilson knew he was destined to be a entrepreneur. At 14, he began his first business, selling comic books right out of his parent's basement.

Staying in the world of comic books and cartoons, Larry eventually founded Animated Stores Limited, which ran the well-known Cartoon Corner retail chain. This business was a mall based retail outlet that sold merchandise of all kinds featuring licensed cartoon products. So in just a short time Larry went from flying solo in his parent's basement to running the forerunner to the popular Disney and Warner Bros Studio Stores.

Larry wanted to find a way to meet people who he could have intelligent, fun filled conversations with.
